Perfect, in every way!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosemary!
DeleteYes, starve it!
ReplyDeleteI shall be doing my level best!
DeleteSmall delights will get you through
ReplyDeleteThey've been keeping me afloat during these crazy last couple of years.
DeleteIt reads like a spell and I love it. Also, what Debra and Cressida said. May the bites be yummy and effective.
ReplyDeleteI love that it has that spell-like feel :)
DeleteMuch wisdom here
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debi
DeleteThe strength in your poem overwhelms, I love poetry that speaks volumes with few words. Wishing you an epic 50th on the 27th! Also, improving health for your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Helen. Both my husband and Darling Youngest are doing much better now that they've been on the anti-viral meds. I think the cough might linger a bit, but at least most of the other symptoms have faded away.
DeleteOh girl, I hope you or anyone you know does not have despair that deep, for most poetic thoughts come from within, I think. Even with a prompt. Be well. Blessings on this Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteI can't say that there haven't been some very low points in the last year, but I'm still standing, so that counts for something. :)
DeleteWe had a small delight that our daughter dropped off, then texted us about it. It was a lemon cupcake which we promptly ate.
ReplyDelete..
That sounds yummy! One of my nieces has a killer lemon square recipe.
DeleteThat is definitely a mood!
ReplyDeleteA mood and then some, yep
DeleteSo very true for me, too. Good cheer! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo much said in few words Great!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it.
DeleteYour poem reads like an affirmation; an act of saying YES to writing, every day. Simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWriting is one of the mightiest of small pleasures. :)
DeleteIf you have enough of those small delights, you may end up with a feast! May it be so!
ReplyDeleteThat's the goal!
DeleteBeautiful thought.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
