The Magic

I’ve sought escape
in the magic of stories,
only to find myself
more sharply reflected
in every word.

The Magician is my favorite tarot card
and I fell in love with this version from Modern Witch Tarot by Lisa Sterle

  9. I think that's one of the things that makes stories and storytelling extra magical. We are transported while creating and while reading. Thank goodness for those worlds... even the difficult ones.

  10. Isnt that so very true. In writing, one's inner muse comes out. A thought, a feeling, a soul. A reflection of the author, even though perhaps disguised.
