Heart
of mine,
remember
your worth is more
than puerile clucks in discontented winds.

Song Choice: Shake It Off by Taylor Swift

I was late to the party for Marian's Fussy Little Forms: Tetractys, but I thought it was such a fun form that I wanted to give it a shot for today's Tuesday Platform at the Toads.

  1. Certainly one should never measure worth in clucks.

    1. It's even a worse form of measure than a coffee spoon.

  2. You are right clucks are no use at all, I think it is that touch whether by fingertips or lips that really stirs the heart.

  6. puerile clucks .... now that is truly a wonderful way of describbling/describing it .... puerile clucks .... well done Rommy! LOL - who roosts the nest now?

Well done and excellent way to use the form, well suited indeed - and even without, most excellent pecking, in rightful order.

  11. Chickens are terrible at the art of clucking worth. It is known.

Also, I love the chic sort of disdain your use of the word "puerile" adds to the poem.
